Aries 145D (Original version: Aries 125D, the prize Beyblade for RBV1: Secret Aries). Is a Defense-Type Beyblade. It's evolution is Rock Aries ED145B and was owned by Hyoma. It was only released in Japan and it's Legend version is Torch Aries 125D. It is the prize Beyblade of the Random Booster Vol.1 Secret Aries pack. Takara-Tomy re-released it in a dark purple recolour and original colour along with Virgo and Pisces. These re-releases feature a mold change which help tell them apart from the original.
The face on this beyblade depicts "Aries", the first symbol in the Zodiac and one of the 88 constellations in space.
- Weight: 28 grams
It has a wheel with 6 horns and 3 ram heads. It deals slight Upper Smash Attack, but has horrible Defense
properties due to the big gaps in the Wheel and has bad Stamina due to frequent recoil. Because, of this it can have a major risk in tournament battles and should not be used competively. It is quite a thin Metal Wheel. It also has a wider diameter than Hell. The difference is about 1 to 2 mm.
- Weight: 1.53 Grams
145, along with its variants (C145, DF145, etc.), was once the highest Track available, until the 230 Track was released with Flame Byxis. It can be used in Stamina customs to great effect due to its tall height, which allows for more wobbling as the Beyblade loses its spin velocity. 145, as tall as it is, makes it easily susceptible to low Attackers; however, this should not be seen as a drawback because Stamina Types are not traditionally designed to be used against Attack Types.
145 is also not restricted to the use of Stamina Types. 145 has in fact found its place in a top-tier Attack Customization for certain types of beyblades.
Peformance Tip: Defense
- Weight: 0.68 Grams
This is a Defense Bottom, which acts as a wider version of a Sharp Bottom. When hit by an opponent, a Beyblade with this Bottom will have lessened recoil and will recover from attacks more efficiently than a Sharp Tip. However, while recovering, the Defense Bottom will cause the Beyblade to lose some Stamina, caused by the added friction.
- WBBA Exclusive Version (Yellow).
- Aries 145D is one of many beyblades to have the 145D combo, others include Leone 145D, Counter Leone 145D Counter Scorpio 145D, Grand Capricorn 145D, Vulcan Horuseus 145D and Pirates Orojya 145D.
- It's Legend version, Torch Aries 125D, have a different Spin Track (125 Spin Track instead of 145).
