Face Bolt - Scorpio
- Main article: Face Bolt - Scorpio
The Face Bolt depicts "Scorpio", the eighth astrological sign in the Zodiac, and one of the 88 constellations in space.
Energy Ring - Scorpio
- Main article: Energy Ring - Scorpio
The Scorpio Energy Ring features two "stingers" on opposing ends of the Energy Ring. It is the second lightest Energy Ring available. Due to Scorpio's small shape and slopes, using Scorpio increases contact with the Fusion Wheel, and decreases contact with the Energy Ring. This is particularly useful for increasing a Beyblade's Smash Attack and its potential to destabilize the opposing Beyblade.
Fusion Wheel - Counter
- Main article: Fusion Wheel - Counter
Counter is based on the Metal System Leone Wheel. It possesses six mane-like protrusions that make up its circumference. The gaps between the six protrusions are too small to provide consistent Smash Attack for an Attack Type customization. Counter showcases fair Smash Attack, but unlike Leone, it lacks the same degree of recoil. This is because the protrusions are more compact and rounded than Leone's. This lower recoil makes it a better, albeit underwhelming, choice for a Defense Type combo.
Spin Track - 145
- Main article: Spin Track - 145
145, along with its variants (Claw 145 (C145), Down Force 145 (DF145), etc.), was once the highest Spin Track available, until the 230 Spin Track was released with Flame Byxis 230WD. 145 can be used in Stamina Type combinations to great effect due to its tall height, which allows for more wobbling as the Beyblade loses its spin velocity. However, gimmick-paired Spin Tracks such as Boost Disk 145 (BD145) have immensely outclassed their original basic variant, as have several taller gimmick Spin Tracks, especially against heavy, mid-height Attack customisations. Even in stamina battles, 145 does not offer enough balance: Spin Tracks such as Armor Defense 145 (AD145) and Wide Defense 145 (WD145) provide a good center of gravity, and aid with a slight downforce to maintain stability.
Performance Tip - Defense
- Main article: Performance Tip - Defense
Defense (D), as the name implies, was the first Defense Type Performance Tip released in the Metal Saga series. Defense is similar to Spike, but is wider. Compared to the Stamina Type Spike, Defense actually has superior Stamina capabilities, with less recoil and more recovery. However, the added friction from the wider tip causes the Beyblade to lose Stamina during recovery.
