Cyber Pegasus 100HF is an Attack-Type Beyblade that appears in the anime and manga series, Beyblade: Metal Fusion. It is owned by Sora Akatsuki.

Note: Cyber Pegasis 100HF was initially released exclusively with the Bakuten Cyber Pegasis DS video game, even with its localisation outside Japan. Later, Hasbro recoloured this Beyblade and replaced its Track and Bottom to represent a real Hybrid Wheel version of the Metal System Pegasis 105F Starter.

Face Bolt: Pegasus

Main article: Face Bolt - Pegasus

The Pegasus I Face Bolt depicts "Pegasus", the magical winged horse that soared into the heavens for the Greek god, Zeus. Pegasus is one of the 88 constellations in space. The design features the head of Pegasus, appearing white with pupil-less eyes, along with its snout. It also shows Pegasus' two ears, with a long mane alongside a shorter one, sprouting from its head in a lightning bolt-like manner. There are also curved details next to the ears, which are outlined. Next to its head are the stylized letters "P" and "S".

The Cyber Pegasus 105F variant has a filled in "P" and "S". The Face Bolt included with the Beyblade Legends release of Storm Pegasus 105RF is printed and features a yellow head instead of white.

Energy Ring: Pegasus

Main article: Energy Ring - Pegasus

The first of the "Pegasus" line of Energy Rings, Pegasus I is designed to resemble Pegasus' wings and head. The Energy Ring is constructed of polycarbonate and intended to fit over the Fusion Wheel for weight distribution. Like all the Pegasus Energy Rings, Pegasus I is completely symmetrical.

The stickers differ depending on the release. The original Takara Tomy stickers feature the words "Hybrid" and "Wheel", referencing the Hybrid Wheel System of which Storm Pegasis 105RF is the first of. In Hasbro releases this was changed to lightning bolts instead; the Beyblade Legends release features printed lightning bolts instead of stickers. The Hasbro exclusive Cyber Pegasus 105F features stickers similar to those used on Pegasis 105F. The Cyber Pegasus 100HF version features circuit board-like designs, with the Takara Tomy and Hasbro releases varying in color.

Fusion Wheel: Cyber

Main article: Fusion Wheel - Cyber

Cyber is heavily based on the Metal System's Pegasis Wheel; as such Cyber has a three-winged design and is focused on Force Smash. However, due to being a Fusion Wheel for the HWS, it is lighter than Pegasis to compensate for the Energy Ring. In addition, the wings are rounder and not as pronounced, further reducing its Attack potential.

Spin Track: 100

Main article: Spin Track - 100

100 is the third lowest Spin Track available, but is outclassed in terms of Attack and Stamina by the even lower 85 and 90 Spin Tracks. 100 has no problem with floor scrapes, and while it is generally an outclassed part, it is still competitively viable, particularly in Attack customizations where it is able to make contact with opposing Beyblades.

Performance Tip: Hole Flat

Main article: Performance Tip - Hole Flat

Hole Flat (HF) has a similar movement to that of Flat, with the main difference being a slight Stamina improvement due to the hole in the center of the tip. However, this comes with the detriment of even less grip to the stadium floor than Flat, as well as increased fragility. The hole will eventually wear after use, reducing its grip further.

Overall

Cyber Pegasis 100HF doesn't have many good parts other than the 100 Track which can be obtained in more useful Beyblades like Lightning LDrago 100HF. There is little to no reason to purchase this Beyblade, aside from collection purposes.

Special Moves

  • Avalanche Boost: Sora's first special move is Avalanche Move (アバランチムーブ, abaranchi muubu) Sora first used this attack on Episode 29 (anime). It is a major speed boost that overloaded when Sora used it, causing Cyber to self destruct itself out of the stadium limits.
  • O.V. Drive: Sora's second finishing move is O.V. Drive. Sora used this attack on Episode 37 versus Busujima . It is a power boost that causes Cyber to glow bright red and crash through the opponent, enough to defeat Busujima's Rock Scorpio in a single hit.
  • Cyber Starblast Attack: Sora often attempts to mimic Gingka's Storm Pegasus' Starblast Attack, but it always fails. He discarded trying to master it after finding his own style of beyblading.

Trivia

  • Having a "Cyber" counterpart of the Beyblade, used by the main character, Gingka's Storm Pegasus, mirrors how in the original series the main character, Tyson's Beyblade Dragoon had a "Cyber" counterpart called "Cyber Dragoon."
  • It is the "Cyber" counterpart to Gingka's Storm Pegasus 105RF.
  • Sora calls the beyblade Cyber instead of Cyber Pegasus. This is to avoid any confusion with other Pegasus Beyblades.
  • It is the first Bey with paint on the Fusion Wheel to appear in the anime.
  • The Cyber Fusion Wheel might have originated from the original Pegasis Wheel from the Pre-HWS Beyblades.
  • The 100HF combo was seen in this bey. There are many others, including Lightning L-Drago and the Pre-HWS Capricorn.
  • The 100HF combo is probably the most used combo for attack types. Lightning L-Drago 100HF also has the 100HF combo.
  • This is the first time Pegasus has had clear Track/ Bottom. The second was Wing Pegasis 90WF
