Energy Ring - Leone[]

Leone I is a round Energy Ring that consists of a six-segmented design with two repeating patterns: three segments have a smooth armor-like pattern, with the other three have a rougher design with gaps between small ridges. Leone I features camouflage stickers for its detailing. Its round shape gives it use in Defense and Stamina Combinations, which Leone I initially found success in.

The light weight of Fusion Wheels compared to Synchrome Combinations and their larger diameter (which makes Leone I's raised design disadvantageous and removes the benefits of its side angles) has lead to Leone I being outclassed by lower profile alternatives such as Cygnus and Gasher. Despite this, Leone I remains a usable if somewhat outclassed option for Combinations utilizing the Duo Fusion Wheel.

Leone I has returned to prominence in the WBO's MFB Limited Format on low Track Defense Combinations thanks to its smooth shape and rounded sides. When paired with certain Fusion Wheels such as Bakushin, it creates an uninterrupted graduation and smooth sides that are difficult for an opponent to grip onto. Leone I enhances the Defensive capabilities of low Spin Track Defense Combinations more than heavier Energy Rings such as Aquario, and this outweighs the advantage of any Destabilization offered by Bull or Gasher.

Fusion Wheel - Dark[]

DARK
Main article: Fusion Wheel - Dark

Dark has twelve spikes facing the clockwise direction. These protrusions are closely packed together with minimal space between each, resulting in an overall round shape. This shape hinders the Fusion Wheel in two ways: its protrusions are not pronounced enough to provide sufficient Smash Attack, while the perimeter is interrupted too frequently for sufficient Stamina. Additionally, its weight is distributed over too large a surface area. There is thus no reason to use Dark in any competitive situation whatsoever.

Spin Track - Claw 145[]

Weight: 3.2 grams Maximum Width: 34.0 mm Minimum Width: 27.0 mm Full Height: 14.50 mm Claws & Platform Height: 7.8 mm

C145 has three wings which extend outwards, each separately joined onto the underside of the Spin Track. These are free moving, and hence when the Beyblade is launched, these point outwards due to spin velocity. Their free moving nature make them very effective for defensive purposes, as they are able to withstand low hits to the Spin Track without significant spin loss. Furthermore, the Spin Track is significantly heavier than non-gimmicked Tracks such as 145, providing extra weight essential for Defense. The Spin Track subsequently used to be an essential part for Defense customizations. However, with the advent of the Maximum Series, C145 became outclassed especially by the much heavier BD145, which also offers much more protection to the underside. better Attack and defense parts from the 4D era and beyond also render C145 useless completely.

Performance Tip - Ball[]

B
Main article: Performance Tip - Ball

Ball (B) is a hemispherical plastic tip, providing a large area for contacting the stadium floor, hence increasing friction. Ball's shape also makes the Bey tend to stay in the center of the stadium, making ideal for use in Defense combinations.
