The Gemios Face Bolt depicts "Gemini", the third astrological sign in the Zodiac and one of the 88 constellations in space. The design features two twin sprits (fire and ice), and resembles a yin-yang symbol. Each spirit has a number (blue with 1, red with 2), and the word "Gemios" is located at the center of the Face Bolt. Hasbro releases omit this word.

Energy Ring - Gemios

Gemios is an Energy Ring released as part of the Hybrid Wheel System. It debuted with the release of Killer Gemios DF145FS in Japan on November 21, 2009.

Description

<onlyinclude>Gemios follows the same aesthetic principles as the Gemios Metal Wheel, and Evil, with a similar two-winged design. It is the lightest Energy Ring available, however, it can be used in Stamina combos with a heavier track too.

Overall

Due to Gemios being the lightest Energy Ring available, pairing Gemios with very high-recoil fusion wheels such as Beat or Flash can allow the attack-type combo with Gemios and the high-recoil fusion wheel create 1-Hit KO attack-type combos due to the shape of Gemios exposing most of the metal from the shape of its energy ring.

As such, Gemios is a must have for competitive bladers.

Fusion Wheel - Evil

KILLER
Main article: Fusion Wheel - Evil

Evil has a textured, bumpy, two-winged design that ends in two rounded edges. However, unlike its predecessor, it is considerably thinner even with a smaller amount of metal dropping below the base of the Fusion Wheel. Being so thin, the edges of each wing do not apply as much force as those of the Evil/Killer Gemios Fusion Wheel. As a result, Evil loses any of the potential Smash Attack the first incarnation had. Being so thin negates any possible defensive qualities, and though it may seem suited for Stamina, it performs horribly compared to the Top-Tier Stamina Fusion Wheels such as Earth, Thermal, Flame, Burn, Scythe, and Phantom.

Spin Track - Down Force 145

Main article: Spin Track - Down Force 145

Down Force 145 (DF145) has four upward facing wings protruding from the top of the Spin Track, which aside from giving it extra weight are meant to push air downwards. It is outclassed for use in Stamina combinations. Instead, Spin Tracks such as AD145 and 145 are used.

Performance Tip - Flat Spike

BottomFlatSharp
Main article: Performance Tip - Flat Spike

Flat Spike (FS) or Flat Sharp, features a flat tip with a smaller, sharper spike tip in the center. As a result, when launched at a straight angle, the Beyblade spins on this spike tip, with very little movement. However, when the Beyblade is tilted, either from contact with an opposing Beyblade or from the launch, the Performance Tip moves in an offensive pattern. However, it suffers from the same problems as other Balance Type Performance Tips, in that the two qualities are compromised, resulting in mediocre performance in both fields.
