Grand Capricorn 145D or Grand Capricorne 145D (グランドカプリコーネ145D, Gurando Kapurikōne 145D) is a Defense Type Beyblade that appears in Beyblade: Metal Masters. It is owned by Klaus of Team Excalibur. It was released by Hasbro in March 2012 in the Team Excalibur Set.
Face Bolt - Capricorn[]
- Main article: Face Bolt - Capricorn
The Face Bolt depicts "Capricornus", which is Latin for "horned goat". Capricornus is one of the 88 constellations in space. The design depicts a goat with six horns, and the word "CAPRICORNE" is depicted on a banner below the goat. Some variants of this Face Bolt do not have the word "CAPRICORNE", such as the Metal Fusion Fury Capricorn 100HF release which removes the words from the banner, and the Metal Masters Fury Capricorn 100HF and Spiral Capricorn 90MF which replaces the banner with more horns.
Energy Ring - Capricorn[]

The Capricorn Energy Ring is angular, and features two goat head designs, tailed by long horns, with two small spikes separating each head from the horns.
Fusion Wheel - Grand[]
- Main article: Fusion Wheel - Grand
Grand is thicker than Earth at the thickest point on its interconnected, smooth design. However, it is not as successful defensively, as it is 3.5 grams lighter than the second mold of Earth. On the Grand Fusion Wheel there are six "walls" and with every two walls there is a gap dividing them into three sections. In each section there is a wall with small textured indents; this creates some recoil, which is never a plus for a Defense-oriented Wheel. Because of this, it does have some Smash Attack, but it is mediocre and is completely outclassed by the multitude of other great Attack-based Wheels available, such as Flash, Variares, and Blitz.
Spin Track - 145[]
- Main article: Spin Track - 145
145, along with its variants (Claw 145 (C145), Down Force 145 (DF145), etc.), was once the highest Spin Track available, until the 230 Spin Track was released with Flame Byxis 230WD. 145 can be used in Stamina Type combinations to great effect due to its tall height, which allows for more wobbling as the Beyblade loses its spin velocity. However, gimmick-paired Spin Tracks such as Boost Disk 145 (BD145) have immensely outclassed their original basic variant, as have several taller gimmick Spin Tracks, especially against heavy, mid-height Attack customisations. Even in stamina battles, 145 does not offer enough balance: Spin Tracks such as Armor Defense 145 (AD145) and Wide Defense 145 (WD145) provide a good center of gravity, and aid with a slight downforce to maintain stability.
Performance Tip - Defense[]
- Main article: Performance Tip - Defense
Defense (D), as the name implies, was the first Defense Type Performance Tip released in the Metal Saga series. Defense is similar to Spike, but is wider. Compared to the Stamina Type Spike, Defense actually has superior Stamina capabilities, with less recoil and more recovery. However, the added friction from the wider tip causes the Beyblade to lose Stamina during recovery.
