Leone 145D is a Defense Type Beyblade that appears in the Metal Fight Beyblade manga. It was one of the first four Metal Saga Beyblades released, along with Pegasis 105F, Bull 125SF and Sagittario 145S. It is owned by Kyoya Tategami in the manga. It later evolves into Rock Leone 145WB.

The Leone I Face Bolt depicts "Leo", one of the 88 constellations and the fifth astrological sign in the Zodiac. The letters "L", "E", "O" are featured below the lion, along with a star.

Wheel - Leone

Main article: Wheel - Leone

The Leone Wheel is the first in the Leone lineage of Beys, as well as the first Defense Type Wheel. Leone has six protrusions, each separated by V-shaped gaps, resembling the paws of a lion. The rest of the three protrusions have the paws sloped outwards and downwards, with no paint. Leone is designed to be very compact but due to the high recoil, Leone has been outclassed in defense by other Fusion Wheels.

The high recoil of Leone has led it to find use in Attack customizations, as a recoil attacker.

Spin Track - 145

Main article: Spin Track - 145

145, along with its variants (Claw 145 (C145), Down Force 145 (DF145), etc.), was once the highest Spin Track available, until the 230 Spin Track was released with Flame Byxis 230WD. 145 can be used in Stamina Type combinations to great effect due to its tall height, which allows for more wobbling as the Beyblade loses its spin velocity. However, gimmick-paired Spin Tracks such as Boost Disk 145 (BD145) have immensely outclassed their original basic variant, as have several taller gimmick Spin Tracks, especially against heavy, mid-height Attack customisations. Even in stamina battles, 145 does not offer enough balance: Spin Tracks such as Armor Defense 145 (AD145) and Wide Defense 145 (WD145) provide a good center of gravity, and aid with a slight downforce to maintain stability.

Performance Tip - Defense

Main article: Performance Tip - Defense

Defense (D), as the name implies, was the first Defense Type Performance Tip released in the Metal Saga series. Defense is similar to Spike, but is wider. Compared to the Stamina Type Spike, Defense actually has superior Stamina capabilities, with less recoil and more recovery. However, the added friction from the wider tip causes the Beyblade to lose Stamina during recovery.
