Minoboros Oval Quake (ミノボロス・オーバル・クエイク, Minoborosu Ōbaru Kueiku) is an Attack Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System. It was released in Japan on November 14th, 2015 for 3000円 as part of the Beyblade Custom Set Attack & Balance and was later released in western countries as a Single Pack.

Energy Layer - Minoboros

Main article: Energy Layer - Minoboros
Minoboros is a six sided Energy Layer designed for Attack. The center of the Energy layer features the head of a bull to match the Japanese namesake of the Layer; the Minotaur, a monster from Greek mythology. The face of the Minotaur and the four notches around the perimeter make up the primary points of contact. Most of the weight of Minoboros is spread in a anchor-like shape throughout the Layer and while this may imply that Minoboros is imbalanced, the effect is so minuscule it does not affect the performance.

Due to its aggressive shape, Minoboros works well in Attack Combinations and has relatively high Stamina for an Attack-oriented Layer. Furthermore, the Takara Tomy release of Minoboros features three tall teeth allowing the Layer to withstand its own recoil. Despite being overshadowed by Valkyrie in Burst Attack and Xcalibur in KO Attack, Minoboros is considered a decent choice for Attack Combinations that focus on Out Spinning the opponent if a Burst or KO is not achieved due to its relatively high Stamina compared to other Attack-oriented Energy Layers.

Forge Disc - Oval

Main article: Forge Disc - Oval
Oval, like the name implies, is shaped like an oval. Os appear on the upper side of the Forge Disc as well for easy recognition. In theory, Oval would provide extra momentum to the Beyblade's spin by spreading the weight at two opposite sides. However, its underside is mostly hollowed out, making it the second lightest Forge Disc released, the first being 12. Its odd shape only ends up hindering the Beyblade's stability, making the Combination using it precess dangerously the moment another Beyblade hits it. Even for Niche Combinations such as Hop Attackers using Quake, Oval only poses a risk of Destabilization, and it cannot make up for it by any significant aid in Attack.

Performance Tip - Quake

Main article: Performance Tip - Quake
Quake features an elliptical shaped flat tip that is off center of the Performance Tip, meant to make the Beyblade that it is connected to jump around the stadium akin to Quake in Metal Fight Beyblade. However, due to how shallow the tip's angle is as well as how little it is off center, the effect is not consistent and must rely on a lightweight and off balance Combination as well as a heavily angled launch. The hopping gimmick is meant to create Layer to Disc contact and Burst the opponent, however the aforementioned lack of consistency in the effect makes such an attack method not recommended for competitive play. Furthermore, the offset and slanted tip means that Quake is incapable of maintaining a Banking Pattern and will grind against the Tornado Ridge, making Quake ill-suited for Mobile Attack and Tornado Staller Combinations in general.
